I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chip City (Bronx, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
I arrived 30 minutes early, filled out an availability sheet and then waited until the time of the interview. The other two people being interviewed showed up in sweatpants and t-shirts, one of them eating fast food on the way in. During the group interview, I barely got to speak because the other interviewee wouldn't stop talking. Still, the interviewer nodded and smiled to every response I gave. You'd think showing up early in appropriate attire would be better than showing up late in sweatpants with fast food, but no. No offer.

In person, walk in. Friendly interviewer was the manager of the store. She set realistic expectations about what the job was, and at the end of the interview I got a free cookie!
