I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle in Jul 2016
Interview
I applied online and got a call back to interview around 3 days later. I was sooo nervous since it was my first interview! i showed up 15 minutes early wearing a dress and some ankle boots (not too fancy) and told the person in the front I was there for an interview at 2pm. I saw introduced myself to the manager and she told me to sit anywhere while she interviewed this other person one on one. It turned out to be a group interview with 3 people from age 16-19. after that they said they'll call us back within two days.
so the next day I was called to come back for a second interview and as i waited, one of the girls from my first interview came in also and she was there for a second as well. we sat next to each other and it ended up being an interview with me and her. the second interview took around an hour because we got interviewed by 3 different crew members, one crew member at a time. I guess they didn't communicate before the interview because they all asked us the same exact question each time. the first crew member said that for the first interview, manager interviews us and for the second interview, crew members interview so they can have a feel for us and at the end of the day, crew and manager will discuss and pick. lastly they made us write down our name and number on a clipboard and after the third person interviewed us he said they call within the next two days to tell us if were hired or not. I got called by manager the next day and was hired!! I sent a thank you email towards the manager and she told me the next steps!
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Denton, TX)
Interview
Interview process was straightforward and easy. You submit an online application. Then you do an in-person interview with a manager. The manager I met with was very friendly and the youngest ever at this branch (or district). She asked me general questions about my background, if I had experience working in customer service, food, etc., my availability, and asked if I had any questions.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you think describes a good customer interaction?
The process lasted less than 10 minutes, and all the questions asked I was prepared for since I found them online the night before. Simple things like "where do you see yourself in 6 months," and "what makes you want to work here". Everything was extremely casual and it was not a group interview since I was hired during COVID-19.
