I applied in-person. I interviewed at Chipotle (Minnetonka, MN) in Aug 2016
Interview
I was walking around the mall earlier that day around noon and I happened to see a sign in the window saying they were hiring and that you get one free meal. I walked to the lady at the cash register and she told me that they were hiring and the assistant manager came over and asked me if I could meet with him that same day at 4/4:30 pm. I said yes and then came back later. I came about 15 minutes early and I was offered a soda to drink. Around 4:10 pm I met with the same assistant manager and we briefly talked and he said I was a great fit for working there and he asked me if I was available at 3 pm on Monday the 15th but I asked if it could be earlier so it got changed to 2 pm. He also said I would get a free meal on them for doing the interview (even if I didn't get the job I would still get one!) so I got my free meal and the male cashier who had switched with the female cashier told me I would be his replacement because he was returning for school and just gave his two weeks notice. I also heard from a store nearby that the store I applied to was very understaffed and I felt bad after hearing it. Now I'm just waiting on my next interview and I think I'm getting the job. Like 99% sure.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
