I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
I was called one day after I filled out my application online for an interview. There was a total of three interviews. The first was a group interview with myself and one other guy. It was done by a manager she asked a question and looked for one of us to answer, after listening to one person she would look to the other to answer the same question. After, she told us she would call us either that day or the next day to set up a second interview. She didn't end up calling me until a week later. The second interview was myself and two crew members asking questions and posing scenarios in which I was stressed out at work and what to do. They took me on a tour of the kitchen and summed up what they did in what areas. After my tour, the manager asked me to come back that same day to do a third interview. The third interview consisted of myself, a different manager, and a crew member in training to be a manger. After a few questions, the manager went to talk to the first manager that interviewed me. She came back with a piece of paper and told me I was hired. They ask a lot of questions about how well you know the company so be prepared for that do your research. I would suggest going on the company website, knowing their vision, watching their documentary you can find it on youtube, just know what they are passionate about and why.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
