I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Brentwood, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I interviewed with a Manager and he asked me a few questions and I answered all of them honestly. Then we started talking about the founder of chipotle and how he's really passionate about fresh food and properly raised animals. He said he really liked talking to me and that he wanted a second interview. The next day I came in and interview with the General Manager. The interview was about 5 minutes and I got the job. He took me to the back and gave me a tour around the kitchen and food storage area. Than he took me into his office and explained that he will send me a emailed link to Workday.com/Chipotle to fill out my I-9 form. So the next day I came back with my ID and SS card for him to scan, and my I-9 form was complete. now I am waiting for my orientation next week.

I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.

Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
