I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Fresno, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I applied on line to 3 chipotles and got called to interview for 2. The first interview for both places was a group interview of 5 people. The Gm interviewed at one place and the service manager at the other. During the interview we were asked simple questions like indroduce yoursrlf anf why chipotle. One place called me back 3 days later for a 2nd interview. The othet place didnt call so i called them on the 4th day. They asked to come in within 2 hours for a 2nd interview. When i arrived i was asked questions by both the Gm and service manager. I then was taken for a tour of the back introduced to the crew members working. I asked them questions and answered theirs. After i was asked to sit up front again while the manager spoke with each crew member. The service mamger came 15 minutes later and said everyone really like me and offered me the job. I accepted and spent 3 more hours while paperwork was processed, id' and social card scanned and paperwork completed on the computer. Thus was on a friday and i went in on tuesday for orientation, was given a shirt and hat and told only 2 can train per week and 5 wete hired. So ill receive a call thursday to let me know if im up first or next week. I called the other chipotle and let the manager know i would like both jobs since its part time and was told im in the system and can only work for 1. So all in all it wasnt bad.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
