I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Orlando, FL) in Aug 2013
Interview
They scheduled the interview at the same exact time they opened, so I had to wait at least 10 minutes for the interview to start. There were two other people there to also be interviewed but instead of making it a group interview, they mad it individual interviews. They basically asked the questions that I read here on the website. The lady that interviewed told me that she was being trained to become a manager. She wrote almost everything that I said. Just know about the company and don't come off as too nervous (which I was). She also told me that they look for management material when they interview because they like to promote within the company.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.

Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
