I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Glendale, AZ) in Feb 2014
Interview
They did a group interview outside which consisted of myself and about 6-8 other people. The three managers talked about themselves and how they got started there and what they do as a job. They said they're looking for people they could see themselves promoting to managers which didn't make sense if you barely worked there for 3-6 months or less. They made me feel like I didn't have a chance of getting the job in the first place because they were judging to see if you had the "13 characteristics",what you told them about yourself, and it felt like a contest to see who could outshine the other.

Question 1

Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (West Hartford, CT) in May 2026
Interview
I scheduled an interview, but when I arrived the first time the manager was not there, so I had to reschedule. At the second interview, I waited about 10–15 minutes before the manager was ready. The interview itself was short, around 10 minutes, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions read from a sheet. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not very personal, but the questions were straightforward.
