I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Saint Paul, MN) in Jun 2014
Interview
There are 3 interviews. The first is with one of the store managers. It is a group interview. There were 5 other people and me. The manager kept getting interrupted by the crew members with phone calls, etc. It was pretty informal. After that you will receive a phone call if they are interested in you still/or an email if they are not. The third interview is with the existing crew. If ONE person says no to you, you're out.

Question 1
The questions really weren't difficult or unexpected. They asked "what is your greatest strength and weakness". That is very standard though. She asked about the thirteen characteristics (look on the Chipotle website and there is an explanation).
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (West Hartford, CT) in May 2026
Interview
I scheduled an interview, but when I arrived the first time the manager was not there, so I had to reschedule. At the second interview, I waited about 10–15 minutes before the manager was ready. The interview itself was short, around 10 minutes, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions read from a sheet. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not very personal, but the questions were straightforward.
