I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Richmond, IN) in Jul 2014
Interview
I personally liked who my interview went. I talked to the Kitchen Manager, and GM they both asked me a lot of different questions and just got to know me. They asked me what is Customer Service meant, food with integrity and about my past work history. They kept it short and straight to the point.

Question 1
Nothing they asked me was difficult. I feel if you are made for the job, there is no real difficult question. But was really unexpected and throw me for a loop was when they said, "Well, we like you, but it's not up to us, it's up to our kitchen crew. Go mingle with them and then we'll let you know." I like that they think and appreciate the opinion of their co-workers before just hiring some one in.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (West Hartford, CT) in May 2026
Interview
I scheduled an interview, but when I arrived the first time the manager was not there, so I had to reschedule. At the second interview, I waited about 10–15 minutes before the manager was ready. The interview itself was short, around 10 minutes, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions read from a sheet. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not very personal, but the questions were straightforward.
