I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Johns Creek, GA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied online and a day later I got a email saying I got an interview scheduled a week later at 10am. I emailed them back for a reschedule and they called me back about 4 days later and scheduled a interview on Wednesday at 4pm. When I went it was a group interview with 2 managers and asked questions like why chipotle? Tell me about yourself? What do you know about chipotle? And at the end of the interview they told us to come tomorrow for the second interview. The next interview was with the general and kitchen manager and asked similar questions and told us that if I got hired they'll call back in 24 hours. I never got a call back.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
