I applied online and got an email the next morning for an interview the next week. The first time was not in a group like I expected, so expect the unexpected and keep your mind open and flexible for any icebreaking questions like "why here" or "what would you do in this general scenario" or anything that comes up. The first one was in the afternoon with one manager. I waited less than expected and even had a quick one on one interview, too. We talked over the general stuff such as introductions and general questions relating to work and what I would see myself doing and what I wanted with this job. We scheduled a second interview for the following week. The second interview was with two other managers who I had no idea the positions of but they were nice and it felt less tense and almost more towards a friendly get together about a job than the first. We talked about what I was going to be expected to do in a fast-working environment. They asked me about past experience, how often I could come in to work, what they did there, what they expected in a fast-paced environment. Honestly, it seemed as though this one Chipotle was boasting about how they experienced a rush with a line going past the door because that came up at least once or twice in two of the three interviews and they were trying to overwhelm me. When I look back at how they keep records, I should have brought in my resume to list the things I can do so I wouldn't have to repeat myself about those details in two interviews and especially since the second time around I saw they were keeping things on paper like my number or email while they took down those basic details. I think I was asked about the details and what did I like about the Company in all three interviews, too, so do some research on YouTube because it helps open your eyes to the company's background and give you more opinions to talk about if they ask you. The second interview ended with a schedule to interview with the crew just a couple of days later. I walked in for the third interview and the people knew my name when I said what I was there for(remember names for those that only remember faces because I think that cost me the position) and told me to have a seat. The first person came out with a paper and seemed to just go with the procedure and asking the points on the paper(the 13 points). We came across a couple of questions but not too many, and it didn't end up being a long conversation, but there were a couple of opportunities I slipped in some questions to ask and ease up and seem friendly like how long I was in Florida and back at them when I mentioned other locations I ate at or whatnot. The first member said another person was supposed to be here to talk too but didn't so she left with the paper of questions and another girl came out. We talked a bit and she seemed to ask more job basic questions to seek out the 13 points and again, talk about the fast-paced work and the long lines they had, but it seemed to have gone smoothly until she said goodbye and came back to ask me if they had my number and said I could go home, which felt like I was being shooed but what can you do when they ask you for the number and say 'you'll get something if you're hired'? I did the final step of the three-step interview process Thursday so I got an email Saturday saying I didn't get hired. Bring your resume in just incase, do research and don't make it seem like you were doing it because you were told to and be friendly and quick because what Chipotle wants is a fast paced worker who can be open to new people and not tense up with a first meeting but also professional when they need you to work.
