I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2015
Interview
I went for the interview during the National hiring event they held. I was one of the first people to show up to the event. They called in the first five, they sat us down. This was a group interview. We were told of they like us they'll call us he same day. Once the interview was up I went home and received a call half an hour later saying they'd like to meet with me again for a second interview.
During the second interview it was only 4 of us from the whole hiring event and they made it sound like we for sure had the job, they told us they would either hire us at their restaurant or they'll set us up in another one. In the end I didn't hear from them for 2 weeks, then I got a email saying I didn't get the job, which really bummed me out. I would have loved to work there but I guess I just wasn't what they were looking for.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
