I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Columbia, SC) in May 2012
Interview
Applied online, called in the following week to set up an interview. In person interview was simple enough--your quintessential customer service questions. They gave an overview of the position, made sure I could handle working under pressure/at a fast pace. They stress that your official title is not the only position you will be working. While my experience with the managers of this particular Chipotle wasn't the best, my co workers made it all worth it. Team work is essential for this job.

Question 1
Do you have any cooking experience? Knife skills? etc.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
