I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Chipotle in Oct 2015
Interview
I came into the Chipotle I applied to about 10-15 minutes early.
I was first interviewed by one of the managers. Since she knew this was my first ever interview, she just asked me simple and genuine questions. She asked me what I do on my free time and if I had any after school activities that could interfere with working there. She also asked me about the history of Chipotle and their food (I recommend doing some research before you go into an interview there because I definitely stumbled on that question a bit). After talking for a while she told me there is usually a set of three interviews, sometimes other crew members would interview you, or it could be another manager. I was offered a second interview for the next day.
My second interview I felt more confident about myself. Another manager interviewed me. He asked me almost the same questions previously but he wanted more detailed and specific answers. He also wanted to know more about how I worked with others. He also asked me about my interests/ambitions and we ended up having a common music taste so I felt more comfortable talking to him. I ended up not needing a third interview. He told me he was interested in hiring me. The next day I got several emails about being a new hire.

Question 1
"How'd you find Chipotle? Do you know anything about our food?"
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.

Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
