I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Munster, IN)
Interview
I applied to Chipotle about a 2 weeks - a month ago . I got an e-mail to go to a job fair from 5pm-6pm on November 19,2015. I got to the job fair dressed up with a file folder with my resume , letter of recommendation and my cpr certification papers. When I got there I thought I was late because I got there at maybe 5:20 pm and I was really nervous but I still thought it was just a job fair. When I got there I was nicely greeted and offered a free drink and was told the manager was still in another job fair and she should be wrapping up shortly. So I waited with 2 other girls while she finished the group interview with maybe 4 other girls there interview lasted maybe until 5:29pm and she released them and talked to one of the girls from the group probably for about 5 minutes . Then she came by us and told us that this was an interview ask us to write our name and contact information on a sheet of paper and we did . She told us why they do a group interview and why they do it out in the open in the restaurant. She asked us questions and we asked her questions and she seemed to really like us a lot. She said " Our group had it all together" and she let us ask her questions our interview was over at maybe 6:42 pm and she said we should be getting an e-mail or call in 48 hours and if not call her. This was a Thursday so I estimated getting the call or email that Saturday . I didn't get an email until Sunday (72 hours later) saying that they were "unable to offer me a position" I don't know what went wrong and I was very confident and this really got my hopes up because it was my first interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
