I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Signal Hill, CA) in Dec 2015
Interview
I applied on Sunday, Dec 13 and got an email for an interview appointment the next day. Just finish my first interview today. It was a group interview and there were 6 of us. The cashier gave us a free cup of soda. One of the crew was having their break time and went to talk to us. She gave us tips and told us if you go through the 2nd interview it would be a tour of the restaurant with the crew members. It's basically up to the crew to pick if we get the job or not. Must be a top performer and catch up to every one. If they feel like your a good candidate they will tell the GM and you'll be hired. The GM came to take us outside and the girl that was talking to us decided to join him with the interview. Basically he ask us who we are, why we want to work there, our goals in a year, and the e-coli problem that's been happening. I would say it was less than one hour. He was a really nice guy. He talked about who he was and what he wanted to succeed in the future in this company. Easy interview and hopefully I'll hear from him this weekend if I'll get the 2nd interview. *cross fingers*

I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bixby Knolls, CA) in Jul 2026
Interview
The interview was pretty easy, but I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes after my interview was scheduled to be interviewed. Inside the Chipotle, it was extremely hot and really uncomfortable, but other than that, the interview was pretty easy. But I haven’t heard back, as I was supposed to get a call on Sunday.

Question 1
They mainly asked me for my availability throughout the week, if I’m able to work weekends, what my good and bad qualities were, and that’s pretty much it and hobbies.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
