I applied online and got a weird email like a month later calling me in for an interview in store.
They sat all of the interviewees (in my case 7) at one of the long tables. Eventually the managers came out and talked about the job. We were told about how the place wanted "fun" "energetic" and sociable people.
The interview was a group interview so we were encouraged to ask questions. That's most of the interview, just asking questions. It was kinda difficult though cuz how many questions can you really ask about the job...
Either way, the managers ramble on answers to the questions until its time for Chuck E to dance. They basically take you and you dance with the mouse to a weird song.
After that, there's the opportunity to ask more questions.
Finally, they make you fill out an application. It was a standard one asking for address, references, and availability.
Then, lastly, they conduct one-on-one interviews. Once you've finished you wait for everyone else to finish and sit at another long table. The main manager announced that they would be making calls by Friday to let people know if they got accepted.
In my case, there was one girl who asked a lot of questions and actually brought a resume and was told to stay. She stayed for a long time and came out with additional paperwork, so I guess it's safe to say she got the job.
If you're really determined to get the job, ask a lot of questions and speak loudly. I was told my voice was too soft and tender. Also, interact the best you can with the managers. If you're shy and quiet like myself, chances are this won't really be a fun job for you. The manager, in my case, was very aggressive and made me kinda uncomfortable.
The entire process ran from 4-6pm
