I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ciena (Bengaluru) in Feb 2014
Interview
Ciena follows simple interview process. Consist of 2 technicals , 1 manager and 1 HR round .
I was interviewed for java team, so they asked the core java. It involved Muti threading, Design Patterns.Second round was related to the project i was doing in my current company.
Interview level is average.Second round, they asked me to write some java programs.Reason for looking out or the change.
In manager round, he asked me 2 data structure problem. (Very easy) .and discuss on notice period. HR round is just for name sake. If you clear 2 technical then you are 95% in.

What is dead lock ? How do you resolve if it occurs ?
Cancelled my rescheduled interview without any communication from HR. Got ghosted when asked for an explanation. 2 days later, I get a notification that the position is closed. Will never bother applying here again.
Good experience. Only 2 interviews; 1 for soft skills and 1 for technical skills. I ended up getting the job. Fairly easy interview. Good place to work. Why need many word, when few word do trick?
