Interview
I will have to say I am persistent. I didn’t just apply and wait. I applied, waited a couple inpatient days then I called in until I could talk to the right manager for the hiring process. The assistant managers were lovely that I talked to. All the staff was. I was given a email address to send my resume to even. After all this, I finally got the hiring manager on the phone and we scheduled an in person interview. It was nice, it wasn’t all stuffy. It was like talking to an old friend and just chatting, but there were questions sprinkled in. It was great, I was offered the role on the spot, I didn’t have to wait which was nice. Recommendation for anyone that applies, be your authentic self. Let them know things upfront and communicate. Me, I have tattoos, so I disclosed them as I had a forearm sleeve and more on the other wrist. I wanted to know the policy and if I had to cover them up. No I do not have to cover them up.
