I applied online. I interviewed at Cintas (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
Interviewer was 15 minutes late. Things were going great besides that. Then a lot of beating around the bush on compensation. It's $19.25 to train for two weeks then 10 to 12 thousand a year base plus commission. Also your route can alter your commission and you have no say in your route. I politely said I wasn't interested in a commission based position and that glassdoors average salary was 41k. The interviewer tried to then say it did pay that much even though it doesn't. Overall it felt like a life insurance or similar sales job. Everyone was overly dressed and trying to impress you. I was told something close to unlimited income potential more than once. I wouldn't be surprised if the recruiters got bonuses for each person hired or even how much they sold (pyramid).

There were no real interview questions besides the basic. Explain what you would do in this situation etc...
I went through a 4 step interview process including the ride along. I think it came down to the GM deciding it wasn't a good fit. Very top heavy management but very professional. Don't forget your suit.

6am ride-along with one of the drivers on the route, then you return to the office and speak with the entire gauntlet of hiring managers (roughly 5-6 interviews). Very thorough process.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cintas (Stockton, CA) in Oct 2024
Interview
During the hiring process, the manager specifically told me he was hiring for a "bench role". Somebody who could fill in where needed at the company. The job title that was posted was a ghost position, and had no timetable of when it would actually be available.
