Applied through my University. Set up an in-person interview a few weeks after that. Interviewer was nice, and the interview was super easy (basic behavioral questions). That interview was in October, then I didn't hear back from them until February. I got a few no-reply emails letting me know I was still being considered, but I knew little to nothing about next steps. Finally in February, I was invited to their RTP campus for an in-person interview. The HR person really should have been on time, especially because she failed to tell me that you need a FOB to enter the building. So I waited outside for a few minutes until someone let me tailgate in. Then I waited about 30 minutes for the HR rep to come to me. She apologized for being incredibly late, then we headed upstairs. She gave me a brief tour of the office as we walked to our conference room, and it seemed quiet on the floor (this could be because it was a Friday morning, but I don't know--it just seemed odd). The first person I interviewed with wasn't in the office (so I'm not sure why I even interviewed with her), so we did a phone interview. She mostly talked about the position and didn't ask me much. After that 20 minute phone call, the HR rep came and got me again and we went to another conference room. There I interviewed with a younger guy, and then his boss (on skype). They both seemed nice, but pretty robotic. The guy wouldn't stop smiling, which made him look like he wasn't really listening to my responses. After about 30 minutes talking with them, the HR rep came and got me again. Now she gave me a longer tour of the office, which was definitely pretty cool (check out the creativity rooms!). I talked with her in the hallway for a little bit before finally leaving. They ended up going with someone else after that, which I was okay with. Cisco is definitely a good company to work for, but I didn't connect with anyone I met with and everyone I did meet with seemed disingenuous or curt.
