I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
The first interview is on phone for entry level software developer position, they require knowledge in C,python. So i was scheduled for phone screening and was the told most questions would be asked on understanding algorithms, data structures.
There were 2 easy and 2 medium questions they were not too crazy but the mediums can catch you off guard. If you practice the common questions you would probably get it.
Super day consisted of 3 hours of back to back behavioral and technical rounds. Technical interview consisted of many trivia questions on Networking, so recommend to review this topic beforehand. Behavioral interview asked standard questions (tell me about a time…/ work as a team/… etc)
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cisco (Ottawa, ON) in Oct 2022
Interview
First a technical interview with 3 questions of varying difficulty. After that, a month of no response. Then I got sent an email asking whether I was still interested, and within a week I got two other interviews. The interviews for smaller teams (>20) were very nice. The other was from an "Emerging Talent" recruiter, a whole event for a big group of applicants more than two weeks after their first email.
