This review is about an interview for a role in the Presales System Engineering team, a team led by a certain individual from Amsterdam in charge, among other countries, of the Nordics. He deemed acceptable and as an expectation to put in around 30h of overtime work, per week, in the first year, year and a half. This is what "successful employees normally do" he said. This is an extremely uncommon practice in Denmark; a display of lack of efficiency and effectiveness in the management of this team. Needless to say that I pointed this out and he got frustrated; the fact that he wrote a reply on a Friday at 9pm to prove his point, proves my point. It's probably good if you're a graduate willing to learn a lot about Cisco IT; otherwise, I think they got this work market all wrong.
