      Automation Developer Interview

      Sep 8, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Ottawa, ON
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cisco (Ottawa, ON) in Sep 2015

      Interview

I was appraoched by a reqruiter who was interested in scheduling an interview for me with Cisco. They were looking to move fast so they called me in for the interveiw within the same week. The hiring manager asked very briefly about my past experiences and then jumped right into the technical questions. All communication was done through the reqruiter.

      Interview questions [4]

      Question 1

What is the difference between a funtion and a macro
      Answer question

      Question 2

A question that used pointers and bit shifting in C to print out the characters from an String.
      Answer question

      Question 3

Find three bugs in this block of code. (The answers were so basic that I overlooked the obvious; nothing to handle divide by zero, no default variable initialization, error in the logic of a calculation)
      Answer question

      Question 4

Add a string element into an already existing doubly linked list and handle corner case scenarios as well.
