As you'd expect for a Hedge fund, detailed, multi-step interviews with 4 technical rounds via Zoom, then in person. Interviews were all done by the team that they were hiring into. The last step was a senior business user.

For the math section, several stats/probability questions and basic linear algebra. For tech it was python questions; typing, async, multiprocessing, and pandas.

First round technical interview through zoom: introducing my current and previous work, they introduce about the job duty, and then technical for basic hardware computation question. The process is around 1 hour.

The process was setup on ZOOM entirely during this hard time. Interviewers are from HK, Chicago and Sydney. They are very friendly. So don't need to worry if can't answer the questions completely.
