Initial phone screening by non-technical recruiter was followed by another technical recruiter call; each around 30 minutes long.
The technical phone interview was around 50 minutes, very average-to-easy difficulty. I started noticing that folks over there seemed more interested in talking about what they do (which they seem to believe is unique or cut-edge) than in actually learning from the candidate.
The in-person interview confirmed that. They are doing 5-6 year old technology but in their own orgy of hedge fund money they think it's innovative. Only one or two of the interviewers seemed rational and humble enough to worth working with. The rest are intoxicated by the koolaid. Particularly worrying was in the interaction with a PhD there (a director, I believe).
Stay away.
