Interview
Applied for the software engineering internship program. First, an on-campus interview which consisted of 3 interviews that were straightforward, 2 technical and 1 behavioral. Followed by an onsite in their Chicago office which was a bizarre experience as they asked me a completely nonsensical question (see below). They also asked me to take the derivative of some random polynomial, which I thought was odd. Heard back the following week saying I did not receive an offer.

Given a 8x8 chessboard, write code to calculate the number of ways you can go from the the top left corner to the bottom right corner, given that you can go down, up, left, AND right.
Really awful interview experience, the people didn't explain anything that was happening and it was all really corporate. I wouldn't apply again and from what I've heard from friends the work culture is very stressful there anyway.

I was reached out by a recruiter to interview for a contractor position on a trading team. The question they asked was strange and nothing to do with the position.

Convert a string to an int without using Java library.
Online assessment with 3 coding questions on bfs and stacks etc.
First round on a simple coding question with some basic CS questions on top of it and also asked many CV questions and motivations
