The individuals that I interviewed with were pleasant, and the interview went very well. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was generally unprofessional. The individual setting up the interview e-mailed me on Mothers’ Day Sunday about my availability for the next few days after. The interview itself was a video call that lasted 30 minutes. I really enjoyed the conversation, however a couple of the questions were a bit unprofessional. These included asking me to disclose my current salary, as well as asking me whether I would accept my current job’s counter offer to stay - which was impossible to answer as they never disclosed what the position salary target was. I was assured that I would receive an email in the next two weeks “either way”, however I’m now over 4 weeks out from that interview, and have not had a response at all - despite two follow up emails. They advised that they were looking for multiple candidates to fill multiple docket openings, so it’s unfortunate that they’re not proceeding in a manner that would induce prospective employees to leave their current companies for theirs if presented the opportunity.
