The interview process came in two phases.:
The first was a phone interview. It lasted about an hour, and was pretty typical of most first calls. The project manager wanted to get a feel for my skills, depth of knowledge, and also talked about the culture of the company / location. The call wasn't overly technical, but we did talk a bit about software patterns, practices, etc...
The second phase was an in person interview, along with a code test. The code test was administered first. Essentially, you had to build upon an example code base, utilizing various techniques (inheritance, polymorphism, etc...). This was scheduled for up to an hour.
After the code test, a senior developer, project manager, and site manager, all asked questions. This ranged from technical questions about patterns, nuanced questions about the frameworks they use / language (C# in this case), and so on. I did end up using the whiteboard quite a bit.
