I applied online. I interviewed at Clark Associates
Interview
I interviewed for a role I was highly qualified for and was immediately met with a rude, snarky, and accusatory tone from the interviewer. It felt more like an interrogation than a professional conversation. The company has no HR department, and the person I spoke with — who was supposedly senior — couldn’t answer basic questions about salary or whether they could accommodate my medical allergy to their dog-friendly office. She said she’d follow up, but never did.
I reached out again after the interview to ask for updates on the questions she promised to answer. I never received a response. In the interview told my ideas were “great” and would help them improve and automate their systems. It honestly felt like they used the interview just to extract free consulting advice.
On top of that, a friend who referred me (and currently works there) confided that she’s actively trying to leave. She said most of her coworkers are young and unqualified, and she’s never seen a single non-white person working there. Given how things shifted after they learned more about me, I can’t help but feel that race may have influenced the decision, whether consciously or not.
This company is disorganized, unprofessional, and shows signs of deeper issues with diversity, culture, and ethics. If you're considering applying, be aware. They incredibly lowballed me.

Question 1
They will interrogate you and ask for very specific questions about how to improve their systems. You will be used for free consulting work. They may even say they will implement your suggestions but ghost you
