I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Clark Construction Group in Oct 2014
Interview
Clark's interview process is great introduction into the company. I interviewed with several other candidates as part of a recruiting weekend. They split us into two groups, one group toured a job site first and then came back for one on one interviews, that second group did the opposite. We all met for lunch in between. The job site tour was really great, and gave me a much better idea of what Clark employees do day to day when they're in the field. Three of the project managers led the tour and we were able to ask a lot of detailed questions.
When we came back for lunch we were greeted by a few upper level managers who ate with us to have a casual conversation. Again, this allowed me to ask more questions about Clark and learn more about the company.
There were three one on one interviews with various members of team Clark who worked in different parts of the company. The interviews all lasted about 45 minutes and were all fairly casual. The questions were all more behavioral and personal rather than technical. They also opened time for me to ask them questions.
Overall the process was very informative, I got to know the company as well as the company got to know me, which I appreciated. It was a very long day, and by the end I was very tired, but it was a good experience and a great interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were very few "difficult" questions. They ranged from "why Clark?" and "why construction management?" to "tell me about what you do outside of class." All straightforward and fairly easy to answer.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Clark Construction Group (Bethesda, MD) in Nov 2019
Interview
Clark Construction came to our University Campus Career fair event. After speaking with the representatives, I was invited to first round interviews on campus. A week or two after the panel style interview, I was invited to Bethesda, MD HQ for second round interviews. They flew me in and provided a hotel room. The interview event was approximately 6hrs. The day consisted of an information session, 3 separate interviews (between executives, HR management, and VP), a lunch, and a tour of a nearby project. Clark team was very kind, open minded, and seemed to genuinely care about each interviewee.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Clark Construction Group (Washington, DC)
Interview
Initial video interview screening with a recording software. 3 behavioral questions.
Site Visit with both an behavioral interview and a formal interview component, tour of a construction site and an explanation of project management positions in the field. Office formal interviews with a number of engineers from other departments (project engineers, budgeting, etc.).

Question 1
What role do you tend to take on in group projects?
All day, we had lunch in the office and then we had round robin style interviews with about 6 in total. Pretty much just behavioral questions asking why I was interested in the company. Overall it went very well and I really liked the people I talked to.
