Interview
A complete waste of my time and incredibly unprofessional. I applied for the role and was contacted within a week for an initial interview with a global recruiter. I thought it was strange that I’d be talking to someone in London when the role was US-based, but figured they had gone through massive layoffs in April and were perhaps scrappy and rebuilding.
The recruiter missed the interview and apologized because she had a meeting run over. That was my second red flag—she could’ve easily told her team she had a hard stop to meet with a candidate. I replied with my new times and had to follow up with her after no response, only for her to hand me off to another recruiter who had just started that month. This recruiter was US-based and more responsive. We had a good conversation and she wanted to move me on to the hiring manager. Then nothing for two weeks, only to get an automated rejection email saying my background and qualifications weren’t a good fit. So why did we even have this multi-week back and forth?
I won’t be recommending ClassPass to any past or future colleagues.
