Applied via Craigslist. Got an email from the manager to discuss the position (reiterated multiple times that it wasnt an actual interview). Asked to submit an application to HR. Got a phone call from HR two weeks later. Was told I'd hear back in a few days. After a week I followed up and immediately got an interview with the same manager who had originally talked to me. A week later I was sent testing material for assessment. Sent it back same day and a week later had an interview with the manager, a team member and the VP of Operations. Was told I'd hear next steps in a few days. Fast forward two weeks later and I send yet another followup email and within an hour am sent a generic "The position has been filled" email. Everyone I talked to was extremely nice but the lines of communication were horrible. Which, for a communication company, isnt a good sign. The time the company is going to treat you the best is when they want you to join them, and if there was so little disregard for my time as a candidate, I cant say it would get any better as part of the team.
