I did not even get to the interview bc despite the job being advertised as 'Remote', I was rejected because of where I live! The response said they are only registered to hire in certain states. Ummm, why didn't they bother to post that on the job listing? I see jobs all the time that say, "Remote, but must live in one of the following states...a, b, c" so that way candidates only spend time applying if they live in one of those states. This company wasted my valuable time. Also, I worked in HR and it doesn't take much effort to 'register' which is basically also creating a tax domain. BTW, I currently live in a no state income tax state, so it's super easy to do. Apply with this company if you enjoy working for lazy and ignorant people, I mean other companies manage to describe the situation in their job postings, so no excuse!
