Preliminary interview with HR, then waited several weeks to hear next steps. The sad part, I reached out to HR after week two to inquire on the status and received no response. Two weeks after that I received an email stating the hiring manager would like to meet with me.
The kicker, the HR rep sent one email to all the candidates. This place is #1 in heart care but clearly at the bottom of the list when it comes to professionalism and common courtesy.

Interview
I wasn’t asked any interview questions in the phone screen. My next interview was virtual with the manager and team members. They said I would hear back in a few days which I thought was promising. I didn’t hear back for a week so I followed up with the recruiter. They never responded. I got a rejection email 2 weeks later. I assume I was their second or third choice and they were just waiting for their first to pass background and drug screen.
