Interview
I was asked to schedule an interview last Thursday. We set it up for the following Friday, and I was told that I would receive an email with confirmation and directions. I never received it, so Wednesday, I called and left a voicemail to confirm my email address. I never heard back, so called again today (Thursday, day before), and had to leave another message.
She finally returned my call this afternoon, and left a voicemail saying that the interview was canceled because they decided to offer the job to an internal candidate.
1. I took off work for this interview that never happened.
2. I was never called letting me know it was canceled. So I'm wondering, had I not called, would they have called me? I would've driven down there and shown up for nothing.
It was very unprofessional the way it was handled and I'm very disappointed. I now have an afternoon off work that I don't need. I asked a few coworkers to use them as references and a midwife wrote me a recommendation letter. I prepared a lot for this.... I don't think I will apply for CCF again.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Cleveland Clinic (Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi) in May 2014
Interview
2 parts: Computer based assessments then panel interview. Panel is composed of 5 people and done in a very impressive, professional way, in a 5-star hotel. You can immediately sense the culture of the company from there. The questions ranging from behavioral to practical. They would like to know how you were able to do the things you have done in previous job. Result of interview was known to weeks after (minimum). Offer letter was sent to those who qualified.
