I applied online. I interviewed at Clinisys (Bengaluru) in Feb 2026
Interview
I recently went through the interview process for a Quality Engineering role. The overall process took around 18 days to receive the final result, which felt quite long.
The first round was technical and conducted virtually. It covered:
Self introduction
Project/product explanation
Writing XPath for elements from their website
Writing code for element actions
Basic manual testing questions
Difference between Selenium and Playwright
SQL joins queries
General testing concepts
This round was structured and relevant to the role.
After clearing the first round, I was invited for a second round (F2F) at Ecospace, Bellandur, which was a management round. However, the experience in this round was not very positive. The interaction felt less professional, and there was limited engagement. For example, the discussion started without even a proper introduction, and the conversation did not feel structured.
I felt that more professionalism and a better candidate experience could be maintained during such interactions.
Additionally, it seemed that the role and salary were already predefined before the final decision, and despite going through multiple rounds, the outcome was negative. This made the process feel less transparent.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the management round, most of the questions were related to my project and my role in the team. The interviewer also asked a puzzle question to check problem-solving ability.
One key question she highlighted as important was:
“If a task requires three days for testing, how would you complete it in two days?”
