I never had the opportunity to speak with anyone directly. Instead, I was required to complete a “task” involving multiple spreadsheets and documents. The project took me nearly two hours to finish, and despite putting in strong effort and producing quality work, it didn’t even lead to an interview. Instead, I received a generic rejection message: *"We truly appreciate the effort you put into this assessment, and do not take it lightly. While it’s difficult to provide targeted feedback to all candidates given the number of applications we receive, we want to share a few common reasons why candidates may not pass this round: - A misalignment with, or not a strong representation of, our values. From customer-centric to thinking from first principles, our values guide all of the work we do. - A gap in one of the key sets of skills for how we work. - A lack of quality, depth, clarity, or structured thinking to solve the problem set out in the case."
