I recently went through the interview process with Clipboard Health, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I feel compelled to share my thoughts here, echoing some of the concerns raised by other individuals on Glassdoor.
The process began with an email requesting completion of an assessment without any initial face-to-face interaction. While I invested a significant amount of time providing detailed responses, it took Clipboard Health two weeks to get back to me, despite my follow-up inquiries. This delay already set the tone for a less-than-optimal experience.
I proceeded to a 30-minute call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team, followed by a 15-minute live skill assessment. Both interactions were straightforward. However, my frustration began to build during the subsequent scheduled call with another member of the TA team. The call was unexpectedly canceled without explanation, and I only realised this when the meeting disappeared from my calendar. Upon rescheduling, the interviewer admitted to being unprepared, claiming not to have read my profile. This lack of preparation was evident throughout the interview, as the interviewer seemed more focused on what to ask next than on my responses. The questions were disappointingly basic and failed to delve into areas that could showcase my skills and experience.
Days later, I received a rejection email that offered a generic explanation, stating, "At this point, the specific role, in conjunction with the company stage, context, and existing supporting team may not be the best place to set you up to succeed, or the best fit for what you're looking for." The reasoning provided lacked specificity and left me wondering about the true reasons behind the decision, especially after the significant time investment in the process.
Moreover, throughout the entire interview process, there was a notable absence of discussions related to benefits, compensation, and logistics associated with the role at Clipboard Health. This oversight left me feeling disconnected from the company's values and priorities.
In retrospect, I regret not heeding the warning signs from the negative reviews on Glassdoor. My experience with Clipboard Health's interview process has been a disappointment, marked by a lack of preparation, generic communication, and a lack of attention to crucial details. I hope my feedback serves as constructive criticism for Clipboard Health to enhance its interview process and ensure a more transparent and respectful candidate experience in the future.
