      QA Engineer Interview

      Feb 16, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Cloudbeds

      Interview

First call interview with HR. We talked about my background, checked my salary expectation and I was able to understand in details what are the benefits and location possibilities from the company. It was an amazing experience. Then, second call interview (technical one). Proposed some weird questions related to "day a day" situations. In addition, some questions related to test process based on ISTQB nothing for agile teams. There wasn't any question related to previous experiences regarding frameworks or test automation skills, so what were the idea from this process?

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Imagine you have a big feature to delivery in 2 days but you only have 2 "resources" into your team. What are the best way to delivery it?

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We try to consider a variety of factors in our interviews including technical capabilities, previous experience and culture fit. We also give managers a lot of freedom in terms of the specific discussion points. We have shared your feedback about the absence of questions on testing frameworks and automation tools. Thanks again!
