The interview process was very stressful and long. There was a language test, self-recorded interview, written assignment, the final interview with a manager and then a reference check. After going through the entire process, and having them contact my references, they denied me the job. I thought it was strange to reach out to my references if they weren't planning on offering me a position. The rejection email gave no explanation, just a one-liner saying that I wasn't a good fit...
