The interview process was straightforward and well organised. It included an initial screening call, followed by a technical interview focused on backend engineering experience, system design, API development, database usage, and problem-solving. The interviewers were professional and explained the role clearly.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Cloudflare in Nov 2020
Interview
Received a message in LinkedIn from an employee saying how impressive they were seeing my profile. During interview, had a child being homeschooled next to him. He joined 5 mins late, rudely hinted at putting my camera off as it was distracting! Literally asked just 3 questions and determined that am not a good fit and doesnt want to waste my time, without further questions hung up bluntly! How rude was that interview. If you were having a hard day managing work and kids, should rather take leave not disappoint interviewees, they too spend a lot of time preparing for this auspicious call that you just rudely hung up.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cloudflare (London, England) in May 2019
Interview
Hackerrank test, my solution didn't solve a bunch of the hidden example inputs but they were happy with it anyway. Then a phone screen with a to sanity check, talk about my experience and introduce me to the process and then a technical interview, which I failed, but enjoyed as the interviewer asked me hard questions, but moved along quickly when it was obvious I didn't know and gave me a quick high level answer, so I learned a lot.
