Interview
The entire process was extremely quick and was very refreshing compared to so many other processes that drag out over weeks. I applied for the position and was then contacted within a few hours to get my availability for a phone screen. Upon me submitting my availability, I was sent an interview time almost immediately and was also able to get a quick, detailed answer from the correct person regarding the interview format.
The phone interviewer was easy to talk to and did a good job following along, even though some of my responses were disjointed and scattered at times. We discussed an older project of mine, and I should have probably picked a more recent project that I can talk with more detail. The interviewer still took it in stride and asked more process and personal preference questions.
At the end I got very genuine and helpful answers to questions I had about the company's tech choices and learning opportunities.
While slightly disappointing (although not surprising) I got a decision that they would not move on literally minutes after getting off the phone.
While I did not do well with this interview, it was straight forward and I'm very impressed with how quick and helpful the entire process was. I would greatly look forward to another opportunity to interview with Cloudflare, especially for a position I am more prepared for.
