Very fast process and straightforward interviews. NO BS. However left a bit perplexed when couldn't ask for feedback at the end of the interview session. Overall good experience, conducted 4 interviews in a span of a few days.

Technical questions, and Sales experience (territory planning strategy, situational judgement questions, how I work with SEs, etc.)
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cloudflare (Mumbai) in Apr 2021
Interview
The worse recruitment process in my 13 years of professional experience. The leadership in so indecisive and holds unofficial conversations with candidates in anticipation of acceptance in any future opening .
My first interview was held by a partner channel manager which is so irrelevant for a direct sales candidate and apparently the said interviewee gave a wrong feedback which i learnt eventually and i got rejected. This information was from
my direct hiring manager and it literally put me
off chart despite being an excellent bright candidate(i
mean if because i’ve had a chance to speak to
all relevant candidates in the same profile internally at the APAc team )
The hiring manager then spoke to me for an hour only to tell me that he was talking to me unofficially without HR being aware only to promise me roles that weren’t even listed.
On following up i was pushed to few other unofficial discussion with his other team mates apparently he wanted a validation on me being a right candidate. Again all these validations were held unofficially with no HR involvement.
i have my feedback for the Cloudflare team
handling recruitment’s.
1. Equip yourselves first because candidates out there are literally super skilled.
2. respect candidates and time
3. It’s clearly understood that the hiring team
is unprofessional and super lousy , not everyone is
So Respect time and skill
4. most importantly if you find a candidate bright and challenging consider them over a mere years of experience the candidate holds
eg: if a 13+ sales experience can resolve an issue and build revenue over a 20+ sales professional then , open your minds ans logically consider the skill (it’s a no brainier )
i also educated the hiring manager in India that he is loosing on accounts only due to his lack of feet on street sales folks to which he said he’s aware but didn’t care.
Donot waste your time on these folks specially hiring in APAC
i decline any positions here for the sake of such lousy leadership
i am accountable for my time
literally 1.5 hours wasted
