I applied online, had a phone screen with the recruiter, spoke with the hiring manager and was told multiple times that I would be moving forward with an onsite interview. I was then told I would have a video interview. I provided my availability and never heard back. This process started in December and I just now received a generic rejection email. I understand that things change, but it seems very unprofessional to communicate several times intentions to move forward and to then abruptly stop communicating.
