      Technical Support Engineer Interview

      Mar 16, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cloudflare in Mar 2020

      Interview

Applied online, and received a list of hypothetical customer questions and instructions to answer them "as you would to a client" and also describing your thought process. After 3 weeks of radio silence, I was contacted by a internal recruiter and scheduled a phone interview. I interviewed with their Support Lead Agent, and it took about 30 minutes. The interview was both behavioral and technical. Technical were not hard, and mostly focused on networking basics (TCP/UDP, DNS, IP, DDos, OSI model). Behavioral questions were also pretty generic - "how would you deal with with a technical user vs. a non-tech user", "where do you see yourself in 5 year" and all of that kind of questions. Overall pretty good experience.

Very lengthy interview process. Back to back 3 hours interview with different teams within a same day. Good filteration at each level. Tough interview but every one were very professional with their questions. Given enough time to prepare and answer the questions

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Cloudflare in Apr 2025

      Interview

One word: devastated. I went through about 6 - 7 interviews with Cloudflare. Every single one felt like it went well. I had meaningful conversations, great feedback from both interviewers and the team, and even made it to the panel round. A week later, I got the email, I wasn’t moving forward. Cloudflare has been a dream company for me. I genuinely enjoyed the process, everyone was super nice and welcoming. I’m grateful for the opportunity to interview. But it’s hard not to feel confused. When everything seems to work, when people say good things and appreciate you during the interviews, it’s difficult to make sense of a "no." I know this post won’t change the outcome, but I just wanted to say thank you, Cloudflare, for the chance. This one stings.

      Technical Support Engineer Interview

      Jan 21, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Portugal
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Cloudflare (Portugal)

      Interview

I went through about 5 or 6 interviews and a couple of tests. They take you all the way to the final interview and then completely ghost you. HR are very bad at providing updates between interviews, making the process very frustrating. Overall, it was highly unprofessional. I'm happy I didn't get the offer because I was desperate and would have accepted it lol. They were transparent about the pay after the first Interview which was only 1500 euro.
