Absolutely AVOID. So many red flags during the interview. Process: 1. Call with hiring manager 2. Take home coding challenge 3. 4+ hours of interviews 4. ??? I revoked my application after round 3. Experience: The call with the hiring manager was weird. It was easy to tell he didn't want to be there and kept stressing that they really wanted to hire someone in Lisbon Portugal despite the job being posted for a US location.... I told them no, I will not relocate to Portugal from the US. The coding challenge was a breeze. After I turned it in though, the hiring manager contacted me again asking if I was sure I wasn't willing to relocate to Portugal. Again I told him no. Moved on to the in person (virtual interviews) To sum the virtual interviews up: none of the interviewers were prepared, stumbled over their own questions and didn't really seem to know what they were asking. On top of that a few of them were extremely rude. Rolling their eyes picking up their phone and texting, scoffing at some of my valid answers. The best part was when one guy rolled his eyes and threw his head back and looked at the ceiling for 5 minutes while I spoke. The cherry though was when I asked the question: What would you do to make a new team member feel welcome and fit in? His answer: "that sort of stuff doesn't apply to you, we are a close nit team but since you're not going to be at the same location, I don't care about who you are". After this interview, I revoked my application. (They still contacted me twice to let me know I was no longer being considered - thanks I know) This is not a good place to work if these are the people they have interviewing. AVOID cloudflare at all costs.
