I applied online. I interviewed at Cloudflare (Paris) in May 2022
Interview
Based in Paris. A bit lengthy process, that starts with an easy home assignment. Then a set of interviews with the hiring manager and about 5 more interviews with engineers. They all were great, friendly, open and felt like a coffee-break conversation rather than an interview. There were 2 calls with VP and CEO and both went the same way. I was really up to picking that job the same day. They offered an 80k base + 60k stock grant for 4 years. (yeah EU salaries suck). After I said it was even lower than my comp at the moment and additionally I had another offer they proposed 100k base and 80k stock/4 years. I tried to negotiate but it was the last offer - take it or leave. Pity. I took another offer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Super cool process, with multiple stages and comprehensive people. Although I’ve not been selected, it was a nice experience and I would love to participate in the process again in the future
I applied online. I interviewed at Cloudflare in Jan 2026
Interview
First step was the interview with hiring manager, next step - live coding, then I dropped off because of poor communication from the recruiter's side.
Technical people are cool and very friendly, I didn't feel nervous with them and got a lot of information about the projects they work on.
But HR side requires improvement. They can ignore your re-scheduling request or skip the call without prior notification.
