I was set up for failure by the recruiting team. I was scheduled for my 2nd interview with the hiring manager and both the recruiter and scheduling coordinator forgot to include the video call link in my interview confirmation email. I emailed them both twice asking for the link. No response. The day of the interview I email both of them AGAIN asking for the video call link. No response. Now it’s 7 minutes into my interview and I don’t have the link to join. Finally, the recruiter sends the link 8 minutes later and I join the video call extremely late. The hiring manager clearly was not happy and he ended the interview early. This is completely the fault of the recruiter.
